Another Payment Processor Compromised!?

It looks like another payment processor has been breached by hackers. Although the name of the processor hasn’t been given yet, I thought it was interesting that in the news articles it states that this data was collected for up to 12 months. We don’t know yet how long the malware was in place for Heartland Payment Systems, but if it were also a year, that would mean 1.2 billion records compromised! There is of course no way for us to determine how many of those are unique records but I am sure the unique record count is much lower.
Shall we see how quickly a class-action lawsuit is filed once we know the name of the processor?
